Here’s a brief outline of what changes you will see at our reopened office.

  • No longer a waiting room. Please arrive at the time of your appointment and call from your car to inform us of your arrival.  We will be going over a questionnaire as required by the Minister of health and advise you when to approach the entrance of the office.

  • Please wear a mask when you enter the building.  If you do not have one, one will be provided for you.

  • Hand sanitizing as soon as you arrive.

  • A bag will be provided for you to place all your personal items in.  Please limit the number of personal items you bring into the office.  Such as gym bags, brief cases etc.

  • Your temperature will be taken and noted.

  • Please provide a number that we can easily communicate with you for purposes of contact tracing if necessary.

  • All rooms are now partitioned into closed rooms.

  • Plexiglass has been installed at the reception area.

  • A state of the art air exchange system was already in place, but will now be supplemented with powerful HEPA air purifying units in each room.

  • Hospital grade instrument sterilization was already in place, but now will be supplemented with a preprocessing antiseptic soak.

  • All care providers will be wearing personal protective equipment from head to toe.  Everything from caps, gowns, eye protection, visors and certified masks right down to shoe covers.

  • The changes in processing and setting up rooms to be ready for you will begin with sanitizing and purging all the air water lines and suctions before and after every visit.  All surfaces will be sanitized after a waiting time to be assured that the air is pure before the surfaces are cleaned.

  • We ask that you limit your movements within the clinic to your designated room to ensure that the traffic flow for other patients is safe and respects the social distancing as much as possible.

  • As much as possible we have decided to use reusable equipment.  This decision was not only to be environmentally friendly but to help us be equipped  to serve you in the event that we experience another extreme shortage of supplies – like the one we just experienced.

As always, your care and safety is our utmost priority.  I would like to thank you for your understanding and patience during this time of change and transition.  Together we will overcome these recent events and forge forward in strength and understanding.
